The brief
A narrow plot flanked by houses on both sides with only one open face — daylight and cross-ventilation were the entire design problem.
What made it difficult
A central stair court open to the roof, with a ventilated skylight, meant the ground floor kept daylight without opening windows onto a neighbour's wall.
How it finished
Delivered eight months from setting out on a fixed-BOQ contract with two owner-requested variations priced mid-build.
