The brief
A distribution business needed covered storage fast, at a cost per square foot that a conventional RCC roof could not reach.
What made it difficult
A steel truss roof over RCC columns kept the span clear at roughly half the cost of a slab, with the two-storey office block cast conventionally at the entrance.
How it finished
Seven months from foundation to fit-out, with the storage bay released to the client two months before the office block completed.
